Two-factor authentication

Security is a critical aspect when dealing with cryptocurrency. In this block, we will guide you on how to set up two-factor authentication on the Binance exchange to keep your account secure.

First, go to the "Security" section of your profile and click "Manage" next to the "Authenticator App" field:

In the window that opens, click "Enable":

An authentication QR code will appear before you, along with a key below it, which you must keep in a safe place so that in case of device loss, you will still have the possibility to restore access to your account:

Now you need to download the Google Authenticator app from the App Store or Google Play.

Open the app and click on the “+” icon in the lower-left corner. Then select “Scan a QR code”, allow the app to use the camera and point it at the QR code in the application.

On your smartphone screen, you can see a code that changes every 60 seconds. Enter the current code in the line on the Binance page and click "Submit."

Done, two-factor authentication is set up! You can confirm this by seeing the phrase "Added", as shown in the screenshot below:
